As you know, our annual Turkey Cookout is a long-time troop tradition held in early November. And, as you probably also know, it takes a LOT of firewood to pit-cook all the turkeys.
Somebody has to cut all that wood, and that somebody is US.
We are planning two woodcutting days, both Sunday afternoons: Aug. 11 and 25.
Here’s what we need:
- Chain saws
- Log splitter(s)
- Hand saws
- Pickup trucks
- Flatbed trailers
- Adults who can use the above
- Scouts who can work hard
If you can help one or both days, please call or email Mr. Bryant.
