Congratulations to Troop 168 and Crew 2168 – Top Redman Bike Water Station again for 2012. That makes 8 consecutive years!! The Redman will be donating $500 in our name to Easter Seals.
Troop 168 camped with the Webelos Scouts from Packs 27, 163 and 599 at Robbers Cave during Fall Break 2012.
Chapel Hill’s Annual Trunk or Treat is only a month away! We need a wonderful Scout and Adult Mentor for this fun community experience. Members of Boy Scout Troop 168, Cub Scout Pack 163, Venturing Crew 168 and Girl Scout Troop 22 were the Color Guard for the Quail Creek Homeowners Association Parade.
PLC has decided to have an all Troop cookout as our Troop meeting on Monday July 2nd and need some help with the preparations. The cookout will take place at the park across the street from the church.
To make things easy, we are going to have assignments by Patrol.
Troop 168 once again has been asked to be the Color Guard for the Quail Creek Neighborhood Association’s July 4th Parade. I spoke to Conner Copeland and he has committed the Troop to supporting this once again. We will be joined by Pack 163.

Congrats to Michael F. He was the winner of the Troop 168 costume contest at the Troop Halloween party. Way to go Michael!
Troop 168 will be attending summer camp in June of 2012 at Slippery Falls Scout Ranch near Tishomingo, OK. We will be going June 3-10 and staying int he 4E campsite. More information will follow as to cost and transportation.
