Brayden C’s Eagle Project is finally here and it’s a good one. The project will be building three picnic benches in front of YMCA located in Bethany.

The project will be held at 9:00 A.M. on Saturday, May 18th and will go until it is finished. It will be done at his house. RSVP so he can get an idea of how many workers he will have and how much food he needs. You will need to bring a few things:

Gloves and Safety Goggles to protect yourself
Water
Old Clothing

As a reminder we will be participating in the District Service Project placing flags on the graves of Veterans.

Troop Leadership Training

Troop Leadership Training is this Friday evening. All Scouts with leadership positions are required to attend. Other Scouts who may be considering leadership positions in the fall may be able to attend, depending on if we have enough spots available.

TLT will be at the Church. Scouts can start arriving at 5:30pm. We will start promptly at 6:00pm. Classes will be over at midnight (this is not an overnighter).

If a Scout does not have a leadership position and would like to attend, please have them contact Mr. Jones no later than Thursday evening.

The Troop 168 Merit Badge Fair will be held Saturday, February 23rd at Chapel Hill United Methodist Church.

COST: $22 for one full-day class or two half-day classes. Lunch is included. (Lunch consists of 2 slices of pizza, fruit, dessert, and a drink.) Additional slices of pizza and drinks will be available for purchase.

TIME: Check-in begins at 8:00 a.m.

AM classes are from 8:30 to 12:00 p.m.

PM classes are from 1:00 to 4:30 p.m. Lunch is from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m.

CONCESSIONS: Concessions will be available throughout the day.

Registration at the door is subject to class space availability and a late registration fee of $5 will be charged.
